Birthday

Today was great! except for the whole school part oh how I wish that my loving awesome parents would let me perhaps sleep in and miss zero hour... No... well OK. But I realized that I'm glad who I am. Sometimes you just feel like your just there. You know its weird but I just like where I am and I like the people I'm with. Thanks everybody for the Birthday wishes. I love you all.

Mixed Day

Today I got to take the fabulous Stanford 10 test for my first hour. We stayed in that classroom for about 2 and a half hours. The crazy thing is it was only a 30 question test! So afterwords we sat around for and hour and a half and played poker. Texas Hold Em' , Blackjack, and B.S. It was really boring (and I missed choir for it). Then I went to Bio my teacher said since we did so good on AIMS we earned a party (and because we were ahead of everyone else.) So we ate popcorn, cookies and candy while drinking Kool-Aid and Soda. So that was fun but it was too loud to hear the movie.
After school I  went to track and I show up and my coach comes up to me and says "ummmm... where have you been" I said well I was in a play and I had performances for two weeks. Oh well he says to me you cant really do that. And I told him well I really had no choice. He said well I took your name off the list and you have to turn in your gear. So he basically said you shouldn't show up anymore so see ya. So I leave and go to the library and hang out there. So as I walk with Whitley she tells me that Coach said that I didn't tell any one even though I told Mrs. B and she said something about a Play and coach asked if it was some church thing and if they could kick me off for a religious event.
But I got a hair cut today and I'm so glad I got to get that fuzzy crap off my head so that is why I am having mixed feelings about this particular day.

Its Over... *sniffle*

This experience has been amazing just freaking amazing! This show has come so far in if you think about it so short of time. The cast was amazing and we grew together so much. But ...  don't tell anyone... I'm glad to have those stinking songs out of my head. And on Saturday we get to have a cast party and it is going to be so much fun. Thanks so much to everyone that came you guys made all the hard work worth it to everyone I would say. All I know is that the show is awesome every one in it is awesome and everyone that came and supported is awesome.
 Now that it is over I am going to have to fill the big hole where Hairspray was. I mean that has been the focus of my life for a little over 3 months now. How am I suppose to fill that... OHH Yeah... School I have the whole Stanford 10 thing right now. So I have to miss choir because it takes 2.5 hours to take the dumb thing.  Awww well it was fun while it lasted. BUMMER!!

DISSECTION...not...well...kinda

OH MY GOSH!! When ever your science teacher tells you that you will be dissecting something always ask what. Because my teacher said and I quote "Oh when we get back we'll get to do dissection" I was so excited that I came in all pumped. I looked at the board and can you guess what it said... Seed Dissection... that is just not right you cant get kids hopes up like that. YOU JUST CANT

Ohhhhhh the things I've done!

This week has been crazy not only have we had several things with the play. I also had several grueling hours of the most horrific thing I have ever experienced. AIMS!!! BUM BUM BUMMMM!! So yeah I got to sit with a bunch of squirmy freshman for 3 hours (for a 75 question test mind you). The only good thing is the fact that I didn't have to get up for zero hour for two whole days it was totally WICKED baha name that movie. But this week has been totally fun. I got to be part of my very first flash mob they never saw it coming we were only all wearing the same neon blue tee-shirt that says HAIRSPRAY. But it was totally so much fun and it went really well. The play is pretty much dominating my life at the moment so I cant do track *sad face*. But in choir, our songs are so cool! For the first time in men's choir we get to do 3 part harmonies and a secret song that no one but us knows about.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh... yeah my grandma just turned sixxxxxt... I mean 25 she is the best grandma ever and I love her so much. To celebrate we held a little party for her we had dinner, we all made cards and we got to hang out with our favorite person ever!!
And may I be frank, the simple fact is that stye's just suck they hurt pretty much every time you blink and it looks like your eyes are all messed up. The plays do it to me every time its almost like my face knows when I'm doing them because half way through performances I get one and its always on my left eye... I mean right eye  WEIRD!!

Bada Bing Bada Boom... Opening Night and a Standing Ovation!

      HooRah that was so much fun! Oh my gosh everyone totally rocked it I mean it was so good everyone! So as I came off to say hi to everybody and I see Katy she gives me a hug and I pick her up. She looks at me and laughs and giggles "nice makeup Stephen". Then i saw Bo a literal walking zombie he almost collapsed several times just walking to me then he sat on the floor and moaned " I wanna go home". (he slept through the whole second act).
      The only thing that bugs me about the whole play is that there are things just "disappearing" like two ipods and 80 dollars out of somebody's wallet seriously that really makes me angry. But after the play we went to Village Inn with full makeup on yeah we went we looked stupid. But before we got there we went to Circle K and got drinks and so when we got there we hadn't been in there for seriously like 30 sec. and i sat down turned back around and WHAM!!! there goes my drink all over the table and my pants oh it was funny everyone got a kick!

Oh every afternoon when the clock strikes four, a crazy bunch of kids crash through that door! Oh Hairspray I love the play and all that but I would appreciate if you could keep your mind blocking songs out of my tired head thanks... I appreciate it! But seriously when you go to a rehearsal and for 6... yes I said 6 hours they tend to keep your mind bursting with all the choreography and the words of tons of songs. But I wouldn't trade this experience for the world it is so much fun to dance and lose yourself in your characters life just for a couple hours.
I just gotta say that one of the most scary experiences that I have ever had is when the directors giving notes and she looks down and says WHITLEY...STEPHEN... (oh crap) that move you did was so cute... WHEW!! But I look forward to the shows and everybody should come no matter what you will not regret it. We only have like 75 tickets sold for the opening night when the house seats like 350 so you should come it is going to be awesome!

Dance...Practice...AWESOME

These last two days have been freaking awesome. First of all I got to go to PROM!!! (well not really) but since the night of prom for my school and another the producers decided to throw a 60's prom. It was totally wicked... baha name that movie! We danced and ate cookies to songs of the 60's and 70's and the DJ even had a time machine so we got to dance to songs from the Black Eyed Peas and the cupid shuffle. At the end we got to take home all the Balloons... I know awesome right. Then we came home went to sleep and it felt GOOOOD!!!!!

The next was fun just not as fun you see. We well (my sister and me) got to go to track practice. Fun right well it would have been better but it was just a little chilly and it was wet so it got all the discuses wet :(  But I came home I got Katy to come and play on the tramp with me we got to play "dead man dead man" fun game right the point is to keep your eyes closed but Katy had so much trouble with that it just turned into tag. So she told me she was tired so we lied there and looked at the clouds and she told me how much she liked the movie where "the girl gets lost in a cornfield and has a cow in a tornado and she had to get back home with little people" (Wizard of Oz).

Then we came in and we got to count 72 hour kits. I counted almost 500 jolly ranchers that day and they all seem to get stuck together. Then Velora went to school and Nick and Hans came over. We went to Hans' house and got to chop down weeds with a machete. after that we were stabbing Hay bales with the machetes and I didn't know that it is easier to stab them side ways so my hand slid up the blade and I cut my right ring finger. Now I know why my mom told me not to play with sharp things ;) After that we came home went to play practice the Vanilla Boys got to pick out suit jackets and guess what *drumroll*  SWEATER VESTS!!! I am so exited for the play and I want every one to come see it!!! Its super funny just come you will see.

I'm a Blogger Now

My name is Stephen Glade Smith Jr.  I'm in my 15th year (so I'm 14 Ü )  I've decided to keep my journal right here on Blogger.  I love to read and play sports, but music is my favorite.  I'm in choir at school and participate in our local theater productions whenever I can. I'm the 5th child in a family of nine and I love it!  My dad is referred to as "the donut guy" because that's what we do.  Mom stays home and takes care of things there, she's a beast. (I mean that the good way)  Being a teen has been fun so far, my plan is to keep it that way.  This is going to be where I share all my secrets and adventures.  OK, maybe not all my secrets!  Stay tuned...
